Hot Date

I had a hot date with my little guy on Monday :-).  Well, it wasn't actually a hot date, it was a girls night and he was my date.  I will be honest, I was a little nervous about bringing him to a girls night.  Girls nights aren't wild and crazy or anything like that...it was just dinner at a restaurant but with a 7 month old things can get interesting.  I feel silly for even feeling nervous!  My little man was a rock star!  No tears, he ate dinner and put on the charm for the ladies.  I am so glad that my son was my date!  Being a full time working mom, it's hard to get away during the week without feeling a little guilt for lack of a better word.  It is hard enough being away from him for 8 hours and he is only up for 3 hours when I get home....I want to spend all his awake time hanging out with him.

A Baby Story

I am just thinking of what a blessing life is.  On 7/9/2012 Patrick III turned 7 months old, wow time sure does fly when you're having fun.  One day, I will get into more detail but getting pregnant according to most doctors should have been pretty difficult for me.  I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2002.  In 2006 I had a surgery for the 2nd or 3rd time for my endometriosis and my doctor found fibroids.  With all that said....Patrick III is such a blessing!  Thanks to God's grace and mercy, we were able to get pregnant and later give birth to a healthy baby boy on his due date!
